Guess What's Wrong With This Post For a PRIZE...RIC #40

This weekend I got to hang out with my blogging buddy Claudia Shadler. We ate Mexican, shared conversation and crafted to our hearts content. Good times were had by all! While together I made some cards for the RIC challenge and came up with these finalists...

If you look at the dress really close, you can see that the heart has some kind of beading on it. So I zoomed in on that!

But then I felt like the heart was too big...

And then the heart was too small...

And with no heart at all...

Running out of time, I settled for card #2. The design team always has me second guessing myself. If you feel inspired and want to win a $25 prize by sponsor, Ellen Hutson, join in!

you MUST check out the DT this week...it's jaw dropping good...AND the guest designer this week is THE Kristina Werner!!!

Aga (on maternity leave)
Jennifer  (card will be coming later this week)

*****Now there is something wrong with this post. If you are a follower of my blog and want to give it a guess, leave a comment and I will draw a winner. You do NOT have to have the correct answer to win, but please do try ;)*****

Here is what I am offering up:

Some Mr. Hewey's misters and Hero Arts Inks thanks to Claudia!!

contest ends Tuesday July 22th 2013 at midnight MST. It's open to any follower from anywhere :)
**Edited to correct the date, thank you keen followers for picking that error up***

  1. There is NOTHING wrong with this post (LOL)! I love all of your cards. Each one of them is SUPER lovely! But the 3rd one speaks to me the most since it's a beautiful interpretation with the runway photo!

  2. Um, the post is up at the wrong time because it's usually not at night, and there's no watermark on the third card? Those are my guesses. I like seeing all your different takes. Gives me a little insight into the mind of Wida. I like #1 and #2 the best, but I'm having a hard time choosing between.

  3. Well this is fun! but I have no idea what is wrong with your blog. I like every one of your cards.

  4. Well, I see a lot of things that are right, and not much that is wrong. Perhaps one of the stripes on the first card is not completely adhered? Or the watermark on the third. Gosh, I feel like I am splitting hairs, really. And, all the cards are super, too.

  5. I'm gonna guess no water mark on the 3rd card? But I also noticed you weren't too hard on yourself.. haha...great set of cards though...good choice with the second one!

  6. Ok this was like Where's Waldo. I didn't see anything wrong with your post and loved the three different takes on the challenge. Then I think I noticed in the RIC heading, it says 2014; not 2013. Is that it? I am sure all others will guess the sans watermark, but I was hoping to find something different. Ok, I give up! 😃

  7. Nothing wrong with you post - all three cards are great, with the third one minus the watermark (I do that myself sometimes!).

  8. Hi Wilida, I really like card 2. As for what's wrong I've searched and searched but can't find anything other than the already mentioned missing watermark!

  9. Hi Wida, I can't see anything wrong in your post. All three cards are gorgeous! I'm glad you shared them all! :-)

  10. Well, apart from the fact that you didn't beat yourself up quite as much, there's no supply list. But there are 3 fabulous cards!!

  11. Hi Wida,
On the third card you say no heart at all, but in the sentiment, the "I" in hi has a tiny heart?
And Mr. Huey's is spelled Hewey's?
    Love your cards! :)

  13. Amazing cards! I love them all and would have had a hard time picking one... but I think you made a good choice: CAS and with a focal point that leaves no doubt :). Now for the "wrong part", besides what have already been noticed, I only see the date... you wrote "contest ends Tuesday July 20th 2013", and July 20th 2013 is Saturday...

  14. My guess is "Mr. Hewey's misters" is spelled wrong it should be "Mister Huey's" and you're missing a watermark in your 3rd card. I think all 2 cards are wonderful though! I think I like them all equally. I don't think the yellow hearts are to small or too big but just right. :)

  15. Love seeing your different takes of the inspiration!!

  16. Mister Huey's is spelled wrong, and there's no watermark on the third card. This post is perfection. :)

  17. Hi there!
I just have to pop in and let you know that I loved all three cards in this post today I had to pin them all! Seriously they are all way to cute!
As for what's wrong, I honestly do not know because I love what I see!
    hugs,

  18. These are SO awesome!!! I am head over heels in LOVE with number 2, but, seriously, Wida, they all rock! You are amazing! And there is a watermark missing from the third card and it appears the post went live on Monday instead of Tuesday, but that could be a matter of a minute or so, so that might not actually be something wrong. YOU, however, are AMAZING! I said that already, but I felt the need to reiterate.

  19. WOW! Beautiful cards! LOVE the hearts with the sequins! It took me a long time looking to see anything wrong, but I did notice the 3rd photo doesn't have a watermark!

  20. Mr. Huey's is spelled incorrectly and there is no Wida Miller Beachorado on the third card. All of the cards are awesome. Thanks for sharing.

  21. Love ALL three... especially that first one! I can't believe you went and zoomed into the pattern itself!

    ReplyDelete
  22. Pretty hard to find any fault with this post or your amazing cards. But I did notice that you don't have a watermark on the third photo!

    ReplyDelete
  23. Great cards, do like the second one best. The beaded heart is adorable. I think it is no watermark on card 3???

    ReplyDelete
  24. Wida, I love all 3 cards. Sorry I am no help. And you are missing your watermark on your last card. I think that is right.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Heart or no heart, I really like the last card. It's a great interpretation of the RIC photo. But it IS missing a watermark so....did you really make it? Or did Claudia?......

    ReplyDelete
  26. You are so silly.....I really like all 3 cards!!! Each has elements from the inspiration photo but #3 doesn't seem like you with all that bling.....My favorite is definitely #2. Final answer!

    ReplyDelete
  27. Ha ha! The wrong thing was this post is that it just isn't quite long enough- not enough projects!! Looks like there are some eagle eyed commenters already. Great post- love your final choice!

    ReplyDelete
  28. I noticed the missing watermark, but was not as clever as some of these other folks - the tiny heart in the 3rd card is a good one! Great cards and a great giveaway - thanks for the chance to win!

    ReplyDelete
  29. I only see one thing wrong with this post...and it has nothing to do with your cards!! It's the picture of the model....her one foot os cut off!! Yeah, I notice some random things at times! lol ;) And all your cards are AWESOME!! :)

  30. Misspelled Mr Huey, or the tiny heart on the third card? Too hard to look for errors with such pretty cards!

    ReplyDelete
  31. Third card doesn't have your watermark??? I love all three cards.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Your cards are beautiful but if I was to have to take a guess I would have to say that the first card the strips are all uneven.

    ReplyDelete
  33. no watermark on your third card and Mr. Huey is spelled wrong ? Your cards are Gorgeous!!!

    ReplyDelete
  34. The only thing I could come up with was the lack of watermark on the third photo but I didn't think that was it. So I {ahem} may have cheated and read a few other answers. And I can't believe I missed it! I almost always catch things like that. It's the date in the RIC graphic right?

    ReplyDelete
  35. That was fun, Wida! Like a modern Three Little Bear Card Artists story ... this heart was too big, this heart was too small ... LOL! All your cards are sensational, all are spot on for this week's RIC (like every week!) challenge, and the DT cards are ALWAYS jaw-dropping, IMHO! So glad you had a fun craft time with your friend!

Nothing jumped out at me for being obviously "wrong," but it's a cute game. Please don't put my name in the draw as I have WAY TOO MUCH NBUS (never-before-used-schtuff) anyway and (sshh) more on order! Aacck!

    ReplyDelete
  36. Ummmmm you have THREE fabulous cards instead of just ONE?!?!?!?!

    ReplyDelete
  37. cute cards!!! hmmm, I think your watermark is missing on the last pic? or my eyes are fuzzy from being up so early!

    ReplyDelete
  38. Love this looking and try to find it....the third card do has a heart...in the i from Hi..so with a heart instead with no heart...
    Fun game....
    Love all three the cards!

  39. Hey Lady, you are awesome. That said, there IS a heart in #3, and no watermark. Love ALL of them.

    ReplyDelete
  40. There IS a heart on #3, and poor Mr. Huey is misspelled.

  41. You forgot the watermark on the third card! I love all three of them...it's amazing how you can interpret the same photo in 3 awesome ways! I usually struggle to get just one idea, lol. My fave is the second!!

    ReplyDelete
  42. Your posts are so inspiring just like your beautiful cards. I spy that you have no watermark on card #3 and there is a tiny heart in the sentiment even though you say no heart:-)

    ReplyDelete
  43. Love your cards, all are Very Pretty,no1 has a strip that is not glued!!!

    ReplyDelete
  44. I think each of your cards is amazing. I haven't a clue what is different and I do view your blog. No watermark on the third card maybe? Thank you for the inspiration!!

  47. Well, hats off to all the sharp-eyed crafters who noticed several things wrong with this post. I missed every one of them!! Ha. Thank you for the chance to win, anyway.

I am a new follower of your blog by email. Yippee!!!

  48. I am a new follower, my guess is the 3rd card doesn't have your watermark amd you misspelled Mister Huey's mister.
Thanks for a chance to win :)

  49. Love all the cards. The only things I noticed are: 1. On the 3rd card you said 'no heart at all' but there's a tiny one on Hi. 2. The closing date for the giveaway says "22th" instead of 22nd. Your work is always awesome anyway. TFS

  50. I like all three cards, Wida!
The only thing I could see that was "wrong" was that you didn't add your name and blog name to your third cards as a watermark.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Well I LOVE all three takes on the Challenge!! I am playing along this week!! YEAH!! I guess there is no Water Mark on the last card, because EVERYTHING else looks PERFECT!! THANKS SO MUCH for stopping by me blog and leaving a comment!! It MEANS ALOT!! =) Have a FABULOUS WEEK!! =)

  52. Love the cards and I think the second heart was perfect! The third photo doesn't have a water mark.

  53. I am a first time visitor to your blog, and I love the heart cards!

    ReplyDelete
  54. Wow...all 3 cards are a real piece of art n beauty...loved them n cant even guess wat is wrong in the post except only one thing that the watermark is missing on the 3rd card....!!
    Thanks for the chance..!!

    ReplyDelete
  55. Gorgeous cards, but I think #2 is my favorite! I'm going to guess the lack of a watermark on the third card is the blunder :)

    ReplyDelete
  56. Pretty cards - no watermark on the third card and misspelled Mr. Huey - but I was not the first one to notice that.....

    ReplyDelete
  57. The only thing I see different is that the watermark is missing on the third card, but other than that your post and all three cards are perfect!!!

    ReplyDelete
  58. oh, my...if you think your cards are not perfect, I need to pack up my studio and give everything away! I love all of them! Your designs are always so hip and fresh :) I wish I had your eye. Hmm, no watermark and the Mr. Huey spelling?

    ReplyDelete
  59. I love seeing your design process. The card you chose is simple and chic, and perfect for the inspiration ( love the way you did the heart!!) But I also like your third card, something about those gorgeous scattered elements- so cool!
As for what is wrong with this post...the first thing I noticed (like many others) was the absence of watermark on the third card...but I can hardly call it something wrong! I think you are just pulling our leg! There is actually nothing wrong here!

  60. The only thing that 'could' be "wrong" with the post (other than the missing watermark) would be eating Mexican food while watching ultrathin models on high heels! I usually feel I have to restrict myself to cucumber, celery and carrot sticks with non fat dip to watch these sylph like creatures scowl at us normal weight humans. I personally liked the third card most, it was clearly inspired by the skirt in the runway picture and uses the whole card front, which appeals to me. Other than for sympathy (it feels upbeat to me), I could see this being used with almost any sentiment.
