Moxi Fab World: Tuesday Trigger Fantasy in Fall

They had me at rolled paper flowers. Here with another crack at the Moxi Fab Challenge

Now, to expand on my post on photography taking, I have 2 photos of the same card. Look at the difference in mood you get depending on location and light.

First my beloved window sill:
It's bright, it's fresh and kind of edgy. (it was quite easy to photograph too)

Now with my new method:

This one looks more calm and elegant.

hmmm....which one are you loving?

I am loving this inspirational photo!

Lastly, I am leaving you with a photo that my kids made me take. When I get my camera out to take their pictures or ones of my cards, they want to do a photoshoot too. Here is Ben giving bunny ears to Karina's dog!

  1. nice card Wida. Good job on making the rolled roses. To tell the truth, I like the first photo better, I think I like the uneven whiteness of your windowsill. I also think the card looks brighter there.

  2. I still love your windowsill, Wida. :-) It is a VERY nice windowsill with a background that does not distract from your beautiful cards. If I had a windowsill like that, I'd use it. ;-)

More importantly, I love your rolled roses and your beautiful card! Great take on the trigger.

  4. Gorgeous card! I think I agree with everyone else about the windowsill. It has such a special feel that I really love, but both are totally fabulous. Pretty rolled flowers.

  5. I Love the rolled flowers, colors and layout! I'm really loving your window sill shot. Both pictures are good but the window sill is just brighter. I do think it depends on the card though. Love your comments are good for the soul line at the bottom. So true. I also always love reading your posts. It's like you're just talking to your readers and it's fun and friendly. You had me at rolled flowers....lol. I need to get a PM to you on Facebook soon. Only 2 days left.

  10. I like the first one, I feel like it gives the card more depth. Nice card, I'm off to make one for Tuesday Triggert, too. Check out my blog when you get a chance. www.king-designs.blogspot.com

  11. Great card! I actually like that first photo better too, the escond is almost too bright/washes out the whites.

  12. Nice card and I still prefer the first card look :)

  13. Lovely card, Wida! I like the first photo best, because you can see more texture on the card, particularly on the white die cut shapes. Also, the window sill adds out-of-focus interest in the background. The second looks more like a studio shoot, but flatter somehow.

  23. I'm late to the party, but I know you've given this a lot of thought, and I have to say I like the windowsill picture. Brighter is always better in my opinion. Maybe it's not great for submitting to magazine calls because I think the editors like solid backgrounds, but for your blog, I've always loved your windowsill shots. :)
