Runway Inspired Challenge brings us skinny ladies in pretty clothes to be inspired by. After I was inspired to work out, I decided this looked like trees to me.
When I see that RIC image, I can usually come up with 5 different ideas. For this challenge, I had just gotten my silhouette and was shopping images "tree" when I stumbled on this one.
the sentiment is a rub on. I punched out different colored blue circles and taped them to the back of the card. I left the leaves that wouldn't come out as is.
I hope you will join in! the design team has some pretty good cards this week too! The winner gets a $15 gift certificate to Simon Says Stamp. I have to say Pamela Ho really had a show stopper! And THE Julie Ebersole is Guest Designing for us!!!!
Also, I just wanted to say that I don't normally post this much, so for all those new followers, first let me say thank you and second I promise to shut up for a while after this post! I will be putting all my chatty tendencies on the Runway Inspired Challenge Facebook Page! So if you aren't a fan of RIC on Facebook, you should!!! I will be hosting for the next 2 weeks and asking you all WHAT IS RUNWAY?? Join in the fun and post what YOU think is runway too!

This is beautiful, Wida! I love how the tree looks with some leaves intact, and some leaves revealing color beneath.
ReplyDeletePerfect take - I love the white on white look with splashes of colour, just like the dress. I also love the sentiment - this would be a lovely, original wedding card. I keep thinking about a silhouette, but the cost and computer aspect hold me back. You'll have to do a review, since you are so good at analysis!

ReplyDeleteYAY! Your Silhouette is here! You've done great work with it already, Wida! LOVE that you left the stubborn leaves on the tree, those always stress me out. Maybe I'll just leave them like you did next time. Thanks for the inspiration!
