With all that has been going on, I seem to have forgotten to post my card for Case Study! Oh boy! Here is my card.
The card is based on this one:
To make this card I used the doily embossing folder from Crate Paper. It's pretty amazing :) I used gelatos and kind of white washed a white piece of paper in rows of the 4 colors that came in the pack and then die cut them with a PTI button bits die. I think the Hello die is from SSS. I used my friend Ceal's supplies. It's pretty cool to get to use friends stuff, all the awesomeness without the price tag! She gave me the gems too. Have I mentioned that she is a gem herself?
I am missing my Colorado friends. I hope you hug your friends extra tight next time you see them. Sometimes you take for granted that they will always be there to hang out, you know?
Another stunner, Wida! I'm sure your Colorado friends are missing you more! Good luck with your new job and making new friends and all things exciting and wonderful! Speaking as a cardiology patient, I would LOVE to you have as my nurse practitioner! Hugs, Darnell

ReplyDeleteGorgeous card!!! Love it!
ReplyDeleteTotal gorgeousness! Loving the sparkly and vellum, and gorgeous buttons! I know you are going to kill in your new job! (not literally because that would be counterproductive for your job, but you know what I mean).
ReplyDeleteUmm where do I start? Congratulations on your new job which I know you are going to rock!! The gorgeous embossing, the awesome gelatos paper the button bits I have now used yet. The silver sentiment--wow Wida you blow me away, love this card!

ReplyDeleteThis card.....wow. Seriously. Wow!
We miss youtoo, good luck with your new job! Thinking of you!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I love your colour choices. I know what you mean about using friend's stuff. I had to make a card for a guest design spot and I've used stamps from Lyndal Higgins (she has soooo much stuff!)!
ReplyDeleteForgot to say good luck with your new job!
ReplyDeleteAwesome take on your card--even if it was a tad late. It was worth waiting for!
ReplyDeleteI think I am FINALLY playing along with this one because I love it!
Having worked as a Surgical Technologist, and having the best neurology NP, can I just say that I adore my nurses?! I'll bet you rock. It's good to be a bit anxious about everything; it shows you care and are committed to what you're doing. Your card is a brilliant CASE of your first fantastic card. Both are incredible! Have a great holiday. Bev
ReplyDeleteWida, it only makes sense that you, a person with a heart near-to-bursting with kindness, warmth, and generosity, a sparkling, uplifting personality and buckets of charm should become a cardiologist NP! You will be awesome at this new role: a dream job for you and a delight for the patients and staff whose lives you'll touch. You are such an inspiration!! Your card is such a fabulous brilliant, gorgeous take on your first card, which is as equally brilliant and gorgeous. I'm blown away....Hugs~c
ReplyDeleteThis is just as brilliant as the first one! You are so talented!
