I know today is the second of November, but I got really sick yesterday and couldn't get up to make a post for day 1! Sorry :(
What am I drawn to when I shop at my LSS?
City Sidewalks by Pink Paislee...
I made this card using the papers and ephemera. Love the look of vintage Christmas. At the shop in Colorado Springs shop called Simple Pleasures, I was also able to get my hands on some Melissa Francis glass glitter.
I bought some to try to get out of my comfort zone a bit. Sometimes I do this and then the new product just sits, but this time I was determined to use it.
Update:
Thanks to Ashley N Newell's suggestion, I got some Pink Truffle Lip Butter from Revlon and it looks fabulous. Especially with the $6.00 price tag and available at pick up at my local grocery store. Is it nude? No. BUT it's a good tie over till I can get to the fancy mall to try the other color. (if you missed this post, you can read about it HERE).
There is a really great post on this color of lipstick HERE.
What you are not going to show a photo of you sporting the new lip color?????
ReplyDeleteThis card is GORGEOUS! LOVE the big 25 and that glass glitter is really cool! Get better!
Gorgeous card, Wida! I hope you are feeling better. I was pretty sick yesterday myself. Fortunately I was already off from work, so I slept quite a bit. I am much better today. Looking forward to the rest of your Christmas cards and your Pink Truffle lip butter photo!

ReplyDeletesimply beautiful! love it! hope you are feeling better. big hugs!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Miriam - you should show us what it looks like. I have been waiting on a review of the nude lipstick! It is so hard to find a good one for olive skin. Things always look different when I put them on compared to the tube.
ReplyDeletebeautiful card Miss Wida! i love the old world charm, but still being clean and classic. Feel better! <3 Anna

ReplyDeleteHope you're feeling better now Wida. I love this collection and you've showcased it beautifully here. I also love that glitter too and really ought to use mine more! Christmas is a great excuse to do that. :-)
