A Story and a Synopsis

Today I am writing to share with you my favorite book. I know what you are thinking. "There are so many, how do you pick just one?"

I chose the one that was most meaningful to me and that hit a soft spot in my heart.

THE GIVING TREE
by Shel Silverstein

If you have never read this book, I ask you to please do...you can find a link to it here and even better, buy the book for someone this holiday. People just don't read or give books like they used to anymore.

anyhoo...

This months kit really got me in the holiday spirit. My favorite part of designing for Paper Made Bakery is when we line up all our creations for the month, step back, and look at the various ways you can use this kit with PLENTY left over!!!

1. You can use the kit to enter card challenges, like Runway Inspired Challenge, my favorite :)

2. Give gifts...

3. Embellish your heart out!

4. Try new styles/techniques...

5. Pull out supplies you had forgot about...

6. And give even MORE gifts...

The blog hop for Paper Made Bakery is TOMORROW! I have to tell you, this one is my favorite kit so far....

  1. All of these projects are AMAZING, Wida! Those teensy gingerbread folding tags...sigh! About books: my husband teases me about being the 'uncool' auntie every year, but I give books. If a child is under 12, I give books. After that, bookstore gift cards. Kids have to have their own books to love - my boys have HUNDREDS and as far as I'm concerned, they can never have too many. Secondhand shops are AWESOME places to find books for little ones, too. I am all for promoting reading & a love of reading in kids :) Read on!
